Southern Primrose Butterwort (Pinguicula Primuliflora)
$20.00
Pinguicula primuliflora is a popular species in cultivation. In nature, it is found in coastal areas of the Florida panhandle west into Louisiana. It forms a handsome rosette of pale-green, pointed leaves up to four inches across. The plants are often found in mostly shaded areas of very wet peat and sphagnum, often along the edges of streams and ponds. While the plants are short-lived and prone to rot, they spread by producing plantlets at the tips of their leaves. Keep them shaded from hot sun. The beautiful flowers have incised petals that are pinkish violet with a white center and a yellow beard.

I’m just wanting to know if I did this right. These guys didn’t have much, if any, roots. When I took them out of the paper towel they kind of fell apart in my hand. (I only ordered one of these) So after I moistened the medium, I just set them in there and pushed it down a little bit. Will this be ok?
Thanks for your time!
From Staff: Your setup is perfect. Just place your plants in sunlight and wait for them to triple in size in the coming months!
